Scott McTominay has scored more goals in the league this season than former Manchester United strikers Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee have combined.

The Scot spent almost two decades at United, rising through the academy and into the first-team, making over 250 appearances before leaving boyhood club for Italy last summer. The

His
header against Udinese in Serie A on Sunday was McTominay’s sixth league goal.
Scoring, on the other hand, has been an issue for United at the moment and manager Ruben Amorim is looking to rectify it.
Hojlund and Serkse have struggled to find the form they need, with the former arriving for £72m in the summer of 2023 and having scored 23 goals in 74 games, while the Dutchman has five goals in 36 games since joining in the summer.
In terms of league performances, this season McTominay has scored 6 goals, while Serkze has scored 3 goals and Hoylund has scored only 2 goals.
Amorim has tried to solve this problem by experimenting with Kobbie Menoune as a striker as well.
